Welcome To The November Update From Subscribe-HR HQ
As we enter the festive season, Subscribe-HR is humming with new releases, new functionality and more great features. We want to to make the lives of you, our customers, better, happier and more productive in time for Christmas!
Below is a list of releases that will go live within the system over the weekend of November 29 / 30.
When you arrive at work on Monday, December 1st, you will be able to access the relevant features for your level of access within the Subscribe-HR system. Please note that the fully functional and tested Excel Data Upload Tool will be available for everyone to use on Tuesday, December 2nd.
New Dashboard Widget Design
The following enhancements and changes have been made to the Dashboard:
- The first noticeable change will be that the colours of the Dashboard are a lighter shade than what you have selected in the overall system.
- Widgets can be moved around.
- If a user clicks on the heading of a widget, they will be taken to the main function for that widget.
- Widgets are Mobile responsive, which means that if a user logs in using a mobile phone they can perform actions.
- Reports in Dashboards are also Mobile responsive. Fusion charts (which is what we use), allows us the capability of having a 'mobile optimised' view of reports.
Absence
The Leave Request Form has been enhanced to improve usability. The form allows for Employees and Managers to type notes for each other when submitting and approving leave requests.
There will be notifications (red dots) on the top right of the Widget when there are new tasks, or outstanding items for the user within that specific Widget. Outstanding tasks will show up as a red dot against the relevant Widget that each task corresponds to. The number of red dots is reduced by 1 as each task is completed (or will disappear altogether if there are no more new / outstanding tasks).
Managers Can Authorise or Decline Leave Directly From An E-mail
Managers will be able to authorise leave from an e-mail that is connected to the Leave Request and Calendar. The e-mail will contain the leave balance as well as a link to the Manager's Leave Calendar and the form that the Manager uses to authorise/decline the leave.
Adzuna Account Set Up Requirement
The Adzuna posting functionality within the Subscribe-HR system will work in the same way as MyCareer did. Adzuna is a free listing service, meaning that when a user posts a vacancy to Adzuna there is no charge for the actual listing.
However, please note that the Adzuna model is based on 'cost per click.' So if you want to promote your Job Listing to the top of the relevant category, you are required to contact Adunza and create an account. Once this is done they can outline the cost per click rate that they are willing to promote your ad at, and a limit on total spend.
If you had an account set up with mycareer, Adzuna should have already been in contact with you re the migration (emails were sent to mycareer customers in October). Their instructions to clients was as follows:
"From 16 October 2014, the job search and alert functionality provided at mycareer.com.au will be migrated toadzuna.com.au. Adzuna will be Fairfax's primary online job listings vehicle.
This means you will no longer be able to post job listings to mycareer.com.au however you will be able to place job listings on adzuna.com.au via an uploader or by placing a paid casual listing via the Fairfax self-service channel."
This agreement (cost per click fees) needs to be arranged with Adzuna and does not involve Subscribe-HR, so please contact them directly if you have any questions / issues re your Adzuna account and Job Listings.
Billing
Going forward, each Customer system will have an Account / Billing area located in Maintenance. Only System Administrator users will be able to view this information. System Administrators will have access to this area, however you will not be able to edit or create anything in this area - it is purely for reporting and information purposes only. There will also be a view of Summary Details for your Account (under settings) for your reference.
