This update related to the way Subscribe-HR manages Leave, Accruals and Leave Projections using the Leave Estimator. Please note that all new customer systems have direct access to this new feature. For all existing customers, Subscribe-HR will need to advise of any additional planning needed for activating these new features in your system. Depending on which payroll system you are using, additional management may be required.
Leave Estimator
The Leave estimator estimates leave for a future date. It takes into account current leave balance and estimates balance to a future date selected by the employee.
The estimator takes into account the last update date for the current leave balance and calculates the leave balance for the future date set. It then adds both balances and displays the estimated balance. For more information on setting up Leave and Managing Leave, please Click Here .
Leave Transaction Profile
Leave Transaction Profile allow you to decide how you would like to Calculate the Accrual in relation to the totaling of accruals:
- Auto-Calculated
- Auto-Calculated (No Balances)
- Manual Entry
- Manual Entry (No Field Restrictions)

Creating Leave Entitlements
Entitlements folder in the HR solution is where entitlements are configured. There is no limit on the amount of entitlements that can be created.
The benefits of Entitlements is seen when you have such scenarios as:
Management, or particular employees accruing Annual or Sick Leave Days at a higher rate than other employees.
Creating an Entitlement
1. After logging into the Subscribe-HR HCM Platform, select "Human Resources" on the left hand side from the navigation area.
2.Select the Entitlements folder.
3. Select the Create New button.
4. Enter the fields as described in the table below.
5. Select the Save button.

Assigning Entitlements to an Employee
After Entitlements have been setup we will have to assign them to each employee.
- After logging into the Subscribe-HR HCM Platform, select "HUMAN RESOURCES" on the left hand side from the navigation area.
- Select the Employee Folder.
- Select the desired employee.
- Select the Entitlements sub-folder.
- Select the Create New button.
- Select the Name from the drop down.
- Select the Start Date from the date picker.
- Enter Starting Balance This is often used if you are transitioning from an old system, where the employee may have had already accrued amounts.
- Select the Save button.
