New Release - Authorisation to Hire Widget (and additional Vacancy Management Widget Features) - March 2026

Subscribe-HR is releasing a range of new features and functionality to manage Authorisation to Hire requests for preferred Candidates / Applicants.

New (and updated) features / functionality are outlined below.

Vacancy Management Widget - New Features and Functionality

The Vacancy Management Widget can now be used to complete multiple processes, including the following:

• Manage the entire Vacancy lifecycle (from first contact through to Job offer and Authorisation to Hire).
• Complete an ‘Authorisation to Hire’ request (after the final Applicant has been selected and prior to offering that Applicant the Job). The ‘Authorisation to Hire’ button will appear in the Vacancy Management Widget if an 'Authorisation' step has been included in the 'Applicant Processing Workflow' used for a Vacancy / Job (and this step has been reached).
• Transition a User from Applicant to New Employee via the ‘Action’ menu option > Create Employee (after the Authorisation to Hire request has been completed and approved / authorised).
  • Alternatively, Users can create a New Employee via the New Employee Wizard menu option > Applicant (after the Authorisation to Hire request has been completed and approved / authorised).

The Vacancy Management Widget now contains an Applicant Authorisation Wizard (and Wizard button) that will only appear if the following conditions are met:

• The Applicant Processing Workflow used for the Vacancy / Job includes an 'Authorisation' step.
• This step in the Applicant Processing Workflow has been reached.

The Applicant Authorisation Wizard allows you to create an Applicant Authorisation Request and send it to the appropriate Authoriser prior to offering an Applicant a Job with your Organisation.

NOTE: You can only create an Applicant Authorisation by using the Applicant Authorisation Wizard / button via the Vacancy Management Widget. This Wizard DOES NOT appear / is NOT available via the ‘START’ Wizard menu (like other Wizards).

New Authorisation to Hire Management Widget

This Widget allows System Administrators, People and Culture Users, Hiring Managers etc to review and manage requests for the Authorisation to Hire new team members. This Widget only allows Users to view, track, manage and process requests (not to create / generate the Authorisation to Hire request).

NOTE: You can only create an Applicant Authorisation to Hire request by using the Applicant Authorisation Wizard / button via the Vacancy Management Widget. This Wizard DOES NOT appear / is NOT available via the ‘START’ Wizard menu (like other Wizards), and it is not available via the Authorisation to Hire Management Widget.

Subscribe-HR Wiki:

• Vacancy Management Widget (create and send an Authorisation to Hire request).
• Authorisation to Hire Management Widget (manage Authorisation to Hire request/s).

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• The new Authorisation to Hire Management Widget needs to be added to the Recruitment Dashboard.
• To do this, all customers using Team Dashboards will need to 'Reset' the Recruitment Dashboard for the Widget to appear / be available in the Dashboard.
